Position Snapshot
Using standard procedures, maintains the storeroom inventory, reviews requisitions and issues and/or follows up on purchase orders as indicated. Receives and ships packages using courier services, maintaining appropriate documentation. Maintains a safe, clean, and productive work area. Assists purchasing and other support functions as required. Works daily to ensure assigned areas of responsibility are working with risk lowered to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) specifically in an effort to achieve ZERO HARM so no injuries, illness or negative impact occurs to employees, property, the environment or the community.
- Issues material, tools, and parts and inputs storeroom activity into MAXIMO.
- Uses iPad to perform daily cycle counts within storeroom inventory to assure adequate supplies are on hand and accounted for.
- Evaluates inventory and ensures that reorders within the system are timely and accurate.
- Receives in Maximo, uploads photo and properly stores parts/supplies in designated areas.
- Coordinate supply pickups and deliveries as needed.
- Places received items in proper storeroom location or delivers to proper internal customer.
- Enters requisitions for repair or maintenance items.
- Issues Maximo item numbers for additions to inventory.
- Rebuild and issue wiredrawing dies.
- Assist in quality testing of strand.
- Scheduler maintenance.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements and Education:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. The education and experience requirements listed here indicate the minimum basic educational knowledge and minimum previous work-related experience required by the job duties of the position.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in Oracle and any other computer software.
- A minimum of 3 months’ work-related experience is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be acceptable.
- Lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
- Pay range from $16.00 up to $19.00
- Bonus eligibility based on facility performance
